If you ask for ppl's opinions on your car, that is what you're going to get. Does the fact that someone's opinion doesn't match with yours make them a jerk or a d**k? Personally, I have always thought that converting cars to look like something they are not is cheesy, and I had that opinion back when I was rocking an '89 Civic hatchback!

 

i dont think the wing looks that bad actually. You wont get the full function of it but its all comes down to what you like. In my honest opinion the wheels arent cutting it for me. Its too bling.....but in the end it all comes down to you. You kinda wanted to know what evo owners think and they told you but that dont make all of us jerks. Some evo owners are very passionate and have lots of pride in their car. Just like any other car enthusist they usually have a lot of passion and pride for their car so they def will be defensive when they feel that people are trying to knock-off evos w/ their lancer. The way i see it is that lancer are like evo's lil brother. You know how it is siblings usually look up to their older bro/sis. And in the heirarchy of family the only time the older bro beats down on the sibling is when the sibling brags that they are better or go disrespecting the evo's like revving at them.

slvr ralliart04 just do what u want to do just know no matter what it will never come close to being an evo. If you want to make it look more like an evo then more power to you..just know it aint an evo..im pretty sure w/ the right kind of mods and the right tuning you can probably achieve more power then a stock evo..but if you have that kind of money to transform a ralliart into a beast then i think that your investment is better off w/ an evo... just my opinion.

in the end if you reallly happy w/ ur car then nothing else matters....i get flamed all the time on evom for my widebody. But everyone has the right to their own opinion. some people think my money was better off in engine mods rather then body mods. im content w/ the power from aftermarket boltons..i dont need a 600 hp beast so i spend my money on cosmetics for my evo...some people may agree some may flame the hell out of me ...

in the end do what makes u happy..and everyone will always voice their opinion...a evo or not if it makes u happy then it makes u happy but i still dont think its fair that all evo owners just got dubbed as jerks...

Its funny how you call all evo owners jerks when you could've took the time to read your own thread and see there was a few evo owners that actually liked what you did with it. Every one is entitled to their own opinion and you asked for ours; and because a few ppl expressed their opinion and you didnt like it, then you have to call all of us jerks. what do you all think of these wheels instead? This was my orginal choice but got talked into the konigs.... looking to buy these so who would buy my konings off me? I had them on my car for only a week and are brand new.

 

If you think like that well yeah you wont get an evo. I traded in my 03 ES got 8k back on it and was able to get my 04 RS new. I pay my own car note and insurance so anything is possible.

not into the rims, but for a ralliart its lookin pretty good.

 

Getting a smaller rear spoiler would be nice for a lancer, and work a little more on the mods, since you'r getting a turbo kit, you can always give the car the sleeper look no one would expect what that lancer will have under the hood with a sleeper look!

 

If you truly wanted to go for the evo look, there's only one way of doing that. Is to stop spending your money on modding you lancer and save up for the evo instead. I still don't understand why people would by a lancer and spend all their money on moding it. When they really wants an evo. I'm 22, hey if I can do it anybody can. Some might take longer then they wanted to. I still live with mommy and daddy, unlike other spoiled kids I help out with a $600 rent + i gotta pay my own insurance= $135 a month and was paying $369 for a year and a few month. Now it's all paid off. Plus $250 a month allowance for my fiance oversea, + atleast $150 month for gas + atleast $150 a month for phone cards. And it all comes down to a total of: $1654.00 - $369= now equal to atleast $1285 a month. So for all of you that trying to make your lancer look like an evo please stop waisting time and money and just get an evo. Cuz you're worth it. I'm not saying this to dis on the lancer community, com'on it's just a smart way to think of. If you want it badly, I know you diserved it. Just put it this way, or this was my way of thinking. If I'mma spend $15,000 on a car another $15,000 on top of that to get the car I want won't hurt. If you don't you just lost $15,000 and stuck with a car you don't really like. One last thing, I'm not a big fan of bling bling rims that shines more than the car itself. Now this is hot, plain and simple
