Autometer Dual Guage Pod Fitment SUCKS

I just received my autometer steering column dual gauge pod and the fitment sucks. It doesnt line up with the factory lower column cover at all. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or if I just got a bad one and should send it back. Also, there are no clips on it to attatch to the lower cover, just some tape and some screws which Id rather not use since this is a 30k car and I dont want parts held on by tape. I like my new AEM serial guage though so thats one good thing

mine fits fine. However it does basically just "sit" there... it doesn't clamp on or anything, but it looks completely fine and stock unless you're trying purposely to look for a bad fit. It also doesn't ever move unless I lift my steering wheel, which I keep all the way down, go-kart style, so there's plenty of rear room for the fit + the vaccum lines and AF lines coming out.

You gotta keep in mind too that it's meant more as a cover than a replacement, so it's going to hang over a bit...

I guess I atleast expected it to line up with the lower section. If I line up one side there is a noticeable space on the other side. Myabe its unreasonable of me to think something for 40 bucks would fit well. Oh well.
