I installed an JVC head unit a few weeks ago, and the radio reception was pretty lousy. I looked through the FSM, and found that the Evo does indeed have an antenna amplifier like the standard Lancer. Does the antenna amplifier require a constant 12 V power source, say from the accessory/ignition power wire on the stereo harness?
