quick question. Does it matter, on slotted rotors, how the slots face? I notice some face forward and some backwards.

No; to which way the slots face it has to do with the internal veins of the rotor. I am like 90% sure so no sueing me if I am wrong.

Are you talking about the slots or the vents?

If the vents face forward then it will catch the which forces the the hot air to exit to the middle of the rotor which will eventually heat up the center of the rotor. But if you face the vent backward then a vacum effect will take place a suck the hot air out.

I'm not trying to argue, I just think that is what's going to happen. I'm also puzzled on which way the slot should face. But it does look hella cool when it face forward.

RacingBrake... although we're pretty sure that "cracking" is more pad buildup or etching. I'll find out more tonight when I strip it down.

Seems from doing a lot of reading, that the RacingBrake rotors may not be as good as I originally thought. We'll see though.
