no that was atkinson who apparently wasnt even going as fast as some of the other cars... i dont know how he managed to get that much air!! anyways im sure the sand and gravel that he hit on the way down helped in dampning the impact slowing him down enough to take that bend and not vear off course

I'm sure in moments like that the co-driver is happy he sits so low he can't see. Although in my experience several seconds of silence is usually not good and followed by tremendous impact/pain. I'm amazed it kept truckin after that.
