New shoes for my Evo (OR52)

I've been rolling some bronze painted stock Enkei's for a while now with my winter tires. I've had some crazy stuff going on so I'm late getting my summer tires back on. Anyway, I ended up leaving my winter tires on the stock wheels and got some new wheels along with some new summer tires.

The wheels are 18x8.5 +35 Enkei OR52 anthracite.

Tires are 235/45 ZR 18 General Exclaim UHP

I've been looking at these tires for a while wondering if they are any good. They are super cheap and new to the market so I had to wonder. I've only had them on for a day but my first impression is very good. The seem to grip really well and they're as quiet as my Toyo T1-S's were.

I'll give more feedback as I get more miles on them but I'm stoked about them as a real bargain tire.

that is one very clean looking evo. I think the reason I like it is because it captures the true beauty of the stock car.

No trendy everyone-has-them evodave lights, no drop to 1 inch off the ground, no gangster window tint, no front lip + canards.

Basically no sticky crap.. Just one damn clean evo. Nice!

So far the tires have been great. I was worried about them having soft sidewalls and not having good response, but the feel good after two days on them.

I haven't pushed them really hard yet so I'll have more to say after that.

As for lowering the car, I'm really not interested in doing it purely for looks as so many are. I might end up lowering it some but it will be with coilovers when I actually have a need for them.

Nice house. +1 on lowering, although good reason for not doing so yet.
