I was reading around the boards a bit and I saw someone said that you can't mount a stock wing on to the trunk because it doesn't have sufficient support. If anyone could give me some feedback on these that would be awesome.

i had the wing mounted on a vis carbon fiber trunk when i had my evo no problems at all...

 

I did mine when I had my 03 white evo.
