interesting, what happened to your widebody?

 

No wonder my body shop didn't want to do it. That is a lot of labor. Looks great though. Well done.

I've been considering doing that since I bought my car, looks good.

Did cutting the triangle out between the grilles affect the bumpers structure/mounting points?

looks awesome i also work at a body shop and i have been considering doing this for a while...and now that I saw yours i think im gonna go for it...

 

I made a post last week how I thought the VIII with the upper open grille would be the best bumper for the evo...and after seeing those pics its confirmed, I want to do that. This weekend I was waxing my car and said to my friend if I only could cut the nose out and figure a way to make this all 1 piece, he told me I was nuts and couldnt be done.....hmm now I wish I could do body work!!

 

NICE! Definately want to see some close ups and pics in the light. If we were to get this done at a body shop, what do you think the cost would run? I don't know what 7-8 hours come out as?

This is the first time I'd ever suggest putting some mesh, but some black mesh would look good there. Nice either way. Different.
