Just installed the Thule WingBar on the weekend but what came to my surprise was the the Thule fairing isnt compatible with the WingBar. It is only compatible with the Rapid Aero

has anyone managed to install the fairing on the WingBar? modifications?

Anyone having any trouble installing with the OEM vent visors already installed? Thinking about picking up a rack soon and just wondering how much of a pain (or not) it will be.

Got my rack setup from ReRack today. I tried a number of rack shops and they all told me basically that there was no rack for my car, or they'd have to drill into my roof to attach one. Luckily this thread mentioned the site "prorack.com.au". I searched up my car and unlike all the other major rack websites it listed a fit kit and bars that would work on this car.

The fit kit to get is a Whispbar K332. These are a set of feet and metal hooks that attach to your Evo's factory roof clips in the rain gutters. Then you get the Yakima Whispbar S5 for the front cross bar, and S4 for the rear. The Whispbars simply hook up to the fit kit. The S5 is 950mm and S4 is 900mm, however both of then give you an inch or two of length adjustment to get it dialed in just right on your roof.

I love the flush look of this setup. Hope someone else will benefit from this information and necro thread bump!
