Did she slap you and say shame on you for getting it wrong, because she should have?

I was looking for a nice mani heatshield at one point too. But most I found out there just look like a stamped piece of sheet metal bolted onto the stock mani. The only decent ones I found were Cusco and Arc....and I couldn't justify a $300 for freakin piece of metal.

Ended up sanding and painting down the stocker with high temp. I know you're NOT looking for stock but repainted stocks or polished stocks end up looking better than most of the Aftermarket ones out there.

They will not discolor. The only thing is they do get water spotted from having the vent in the hood but I just do a quick polish job with some Meguiar's metal polish and it looks as good as the day I put it on. It takes very little effort to keep in shiny. I polished the one on Dan's car here yesterday and it took all of 2 minutes.

i have the buschur shield on my BR350 IX (part of the package) and it really compliments the engine compartment, like jrod said it only gets water spots from washing or heavy rain and takes 2 minutes to make it look like new again.I,ve seen a lot of heat shields and i think this is definetely the nicest one.
