Don't get APR splitter bro! I saw the way you drove your car. I don't want the thing flying on my hood. :P

I'm still waiting on a clean and subtle lip for the IX. Street concepts sucks ***, APR is slightly too large for my tastes and i don't like the dual protrusions on the Ralliart lip. Need a style like the Do-Luck lip for the 8 for the 9's.

i may be starting a cf company on the side, and a do-luck VIII lip for the IX is one of my ideas. if enough people are interested we may release it. by the way, the company that manufactures parts for Saleen will be doing all the molding and such, so the cf will be of great quality.

so you were doing 130+ and it flew off?

Sure you didn't you hit something the day or mths before to possible weaken it...or hit something period @ 130mph?

Curious...I'm planning on getting one and everyone (GSC,AMS,Robi etc) I saw this weekend that was using them seems to be ok...Speeds of approx 125+mph (only 1 real straight)?

Did you install the splitter yourself?

That is not to much for a carbon fiber body part for your car. I paid $900 shipped for my doluck lip. You wont be able to find an authentic perfect guarenteed quality/fitement lip for $300. If you want to put some low quality parts on your $30,000 car... well its your car but trust me people who know evo's will be able to spot your knockoff(such as street concepts) body parts from a mile away.

i think all of you aren't getting my drift, i'm not broke and i'm not cheap, but why should i buy a $800+ lip when someone might just snap it off and steal it, i don't live in the suburbs. Also, for something as small as a lip, 800 is WAY too much, i'd rather get cams or something. I already have $$$$$ rims on my car and in no way shape or form do i want a knock off, I want to do it nice and clean, i was just saying that there aren't enough CHOICES when it comes to lips. Come on guys, I drive an Evo IX, not a damn civic.

^ Sorry I guess I misunderstood you. You are right about not enough different style of lips available for the Evo IX. I think because the car is still considered "New" I am sure within a couple months some company will start to produce more exterior products for the IX. I am in the same boat, just waiting patiently for a decently priced CF Lip.

im 100% sure i didnt hit anything. my friend who was driving next to me at the same speed also broke off and plowed the nj turnpike within seconds. complete waste of money. like i said before the apr site even says its for show use only.
