Yes as a matter of fact!!thank you Sir.Thread was alike over a year old too.
It took him a few weeks and he finally replied to me.Through in a set of open ended Blue lugs too.

I'd found a set of 17x9's that i really wanted but they were gold and he didn't want to ship them.
+ the old school white on white I'm not seeing as much as I use to..so I decided to mix it up.

Better get my Ferodo's soon or these white wheels won't last long
na...its not - I'm kind of perpatrating...I just really like how the Blk mirrors and door handles look + it kinda Screams "Base Model" & I like that......kinda breaks it up.Had my guys a work Spray them Satin Blk believe it or not.

^The Deck car is running the Super Rare GTR faced 9.5's of my wheels,..so the front looks KILLER!I love that car.

Looks clean. Wish they were 18s, though. 17s with spokes that don't go all the way clear to the edge look tiny on an Evo IMO.

 

Man thats exactly what I wanna do to mine. I like the black door handles and mirrors. It goes great on a white car. Just outta curiosity how much work was involved in that?

yeah..for some reason I think it looks good.most people would disagree.

Not too much work invloved.My painters actually taped them off ON the Car,just below the Black "seal" of the door handles and I showed them ( a Roof rack on a lexus RX330) a Blk Dull/satin finish that was pretty much identical to the RS door handles and they did it.

I had the mirrors off the car because I had Ralliarts in the place of them..taped them @ the house and they sprayed them.Easy.
Well I had 18 CE28's and they are just a bit too much IMO.Unless you get some really good tires.
as far as what your saying I agree ("black racing"-like these wheels look tiny)...but these are Perfect IMO.If they were a darker color I'm sure they'd look tiny.
17's w/ the OEM advans are Great!wait till these die and then I'll get some A048's or RE01-R's (255/40).Looks kinda cool though...ADVAN on ADVAN tires.

BTW the car is pretty low on the hotchkis..I had just finished and the back was jacked up from the ebrake...once I drove it it setteled down.Looks kinda "jacked-up".

 

Looks extremely clean to me.
