I just wanted to get some good opinions for my new FRP Varis lip. The story goes like this to make it short... I bought a genuine Varis CF lip. One month later I bottomed out bad and ruined it. Insurance gave me money and I was never able to locate another genuine Varis CF lip. So I just decided to go with the much cheaper Varis FRP lip. Looks the same, just needs to be painted instead of the Carbon Fiber look.

My question is this. What color would you guys suggest I have the FRP lip painted? I have an Apex Silver VIII. No Carbon on the car except the spoiler. Black Vortex generator. My first thoughts were to just have it painted Silver. My body shop has my exact paint code, so matching wouldn't be a problem. Then some other people suggested Black. I thought that might also work well. I just have no clue what would look better. Future plans call for a CF hood and trunk. Thanks for the thoughts.

 

i'd go with a flat black.

the silver will look too busy and out of place.

 

id go with silver to match the rest of the car for a smooth and clean look

 

Aftermarket pieces like lips and wings and stuff like that will look real nice if left black or carbon fiber if done right and tastefully. Gotta use them as accents.

 

Black would tie the future hood and trunk in nicely along with the VG.

 

black and silver look good. I'd say black for more contrast
