solutions to getting old stubborn dirt stains off wheels?

solutions to getting old stubborn dirt stains off wheels?

there are a couple of hardened dirt spots on my wheels. i used the car wash soap from meguair and an old toothbrush. got a bit out, but the major portions are still on there. anybody recommend any spray or solution to get this stuff out? thanks in advance

i usually use that armor all wheel cleaner and a sponge. works wonders on dirty wheels.

i used some degreaser i had at work, works good and doesn't destroy the clearcoat.

I use WD-40 or CRC 3-36, just try not to spray it on the rotor.

i've used simple green cleaner......spray, wipe, and its gone......it's like magic....haha.

spray water, then simple green and let sit for a couple mins, then wipe clean with soap

Paint or clearcoat cleaner, Zymol cleaner wax works well to and saves you hassle of waxing..Most wheel cleaner have high acidity so they will fog the finish, alot of them use low amounts of sulpheric acid.
