new camera, new pics
new camera, new pics

pics were taken with a canon rebel xt.
Just got it yesterday and still playing with the settings.
I am kinda new to photography but so far I love the camera.
Anyone know where I can get a macro lenz for cheap?

Spiffy camera, might wanna work on your composition though and find a better image host. Sucks to spend that coin on a nice camera, then when you post the pics look like they were taken with a crappy Point and shoot because your host is resizing and compressing the images
LOL. thanks for the advice on the composition.
I was kind of in a rush when writing.
Anyways, it would be really helpful if anyone can recommend me a good pic hosting site.
Thanks again guys.

I use photobucket. Its 20 bucks a year, each image can be 2megs and you have unlimited bandwidth. Its also helpful each one has a variety of image tags already attached for easy forum/web posting

i can't put my finger on it but something is just off with these pictures, a rebel xt should do much better than that, are u using manual mode, if so, try to get a more detailed background and use a bigger f stop number and play with the exposure and shutter speed. Cuz right now, i think my sd500 could take better pics than that, oh and use a tripod and the provided remote control
I just got the camera and I am new to SLR cameras so it'll take time for me to learn and use all the features in the camera.
The pics were taken on auto mode until I learn to use it.
