Has anyone tried putting the splitter on with out the bottom lip like the APR Evo, yes I know that the APR Evo has a different bumper. I put mine on and I think it would look so much better with out the lip. I was looking at it and think it might be posible by attaching it to the bottom lip mount after some cutting and drilling. Anyone tried and/or done it?

yeah im looking at my evo right now and i think its possible but the question is why would u want to do that anyways?? i dont think it would look better but if u dig it

 

what would you bolt the apr splitter up to? The stock lip holds it up...it would rip off pretty easily otherwise

 

When I was putting it on, I was looking at where the bottom lip bolts on to the bumper. It is a hook shape that the lip fits into and I was thinking of maybe cutting off the bottom part of the top of the hook piece could sit flush with the splitter, then just drill new holes into the hook part on the bumper and the splitter. The only problem I saw was that there wouldn't be much material on the hook part to drill a hole, it would be just enough I think. I just don't want to try and mess up my bumper.
