Installed free oem nose mask from MOD 06*PICS

For all those that went to MOD this past weekend...well the ones that got there early enough...know that Mitsu was nice enough to give away some free products...I was able to get my hands on one of their nose mask (Since the grounding wires that I really wanted were all out when i got there)...According to the box these nose mask's are made out of Carbon Fiber...which is always a plus if you ask me...

Here are some pics...comments are welcomed...I am one to not waste my money on something like this but it was free after all...

Could this really be C/F???

If you value your paint, get rid of that. If you are wanting to protect the front end from bugs and small rocks, you should get the clear bra. If anything gets under that thing like dust, your entire front end will be ruined with scrathes.

+1 Let's say you go for a road trip in nasty weather (rain/snow/slush). All of the crap from the road mixes with water and neatly finds its way under the mask, escpecially around the top lip by the hood. Next time you take the mask off, be prepared to find all kinds of abrasions in the paint. I had one once on my super clean 2G Eclipse, and I've regreted it ever since.

it's too S&M, but hey, it's free. even using painter's tape for track days, you'll need to buy the tape. just don't leave it on for more than a few days, and wash car regularly.

I have a guy that will do it for about half the price you are being quoted.
