About two years ago, I was driving in FL and a GG MR VIII went flying past me. It looked pretty much stock except it had mud flaps (dark gray or black, with red Mitsubishi logos) and an exhaust. As it slowed to take an exit ramp, flames billow from the muffler. Ever since then I was a believer that mud flaps were worth having on some people's cars; even if only for show.

More Pep Boys mud flaps. Front only ....... I really don't like mudflaps on the car but for me they are functional for winter driving.
I have 67K on the car and there are no real scratches from the rear tires so I don't really think rear mudflaps are necessary.

Dammit, I should have got mudflaps for my Evo. I drive through some harsh winters and it shows on my car.

I have the front Ralliart ones on, and they've definitely saved the paint on my car. There's a lot of sand thrown down here in the winter.
