I went searching to see if the paint codes for the siver lancers versus evos were the same or not. came up pretty empty search-wise and found this Chart elsewhere. One of the names for a lancer color is the same as the color listed for the evo (not Apex Silver in the shop manual.) (NOMEX underwear on :] ) So to go wingless (ah, yesss the controversy...) need to find one of two specific silver lancer colors, not any silver lancer. Code equals ... A31. On both the Cool Silver Lancer and Apex Silver Evo. NOT the Satelite Silver Lancer. Just an FYI...

 

its the same...i work at a body shop so im 100% sure.......i just repainted my front bumper and the color that came up was Cool Silver (instead of apex silver)

 

Great! Thanks for the confirmation. You are affirming the Satellite Silver lancer is a different color Than the Apex Silver and the Cool Silver is the same as the Apex silver, correct?

Yes it is Cool Silver. I just painted my INGS +1 kit.

 

I'm positive Cool silver = Apex silver

My touchup paint tube has A31 code and printed is "cool silver"
