some pics at sun down. 56k no no
It looks like you are still using the lens that came with your camera? If so, get a new one ASAP and you wil see a huge difference in clarity. I have the same camera and using the stock lens is like buying an Evo without the turbo...
A good review of lenses:

Ninjox, I bought the camera with a budget in mind and the pics were taken with a different lense.
I think it's the 28-135ismm(something like that) zoom lense.
I paid about $400 for that particular lense.
I also have the kit lense which I think is really good for being a kit lense.
I know there are crazy awesome lenses out there but I didnt wanna pay crazy $$$ for them.
For now I am very happy with the lense and the camera.
I will def buy another lense down the road though.
I just dont wanna spend another $400-$700 on nice lense..for now that is.
For the rest of you, thanks for looking

Don't be so easy on yourself. Those pictures look like they were taken with a cheap point and shoot, not a digital SLR. Also, there is no reason that they should be that big, learn to resize properly.
Hmm, tips? Let me see...
Read your camera's manual (from the looks of it, you haven't touched it).
Then read this: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=166260
Find some informative books (Digital Art Photography for Dummies is a good one).
Get a tripod.
And if you want decent pictures, do not shoot in the automatic mode (the little green box mode).
Now, don't post anymore pictures until you have done what I said or at least something similar.
thanks ninjox.
now that's what I call proper tips/suggestions.
But, I did read the manual and havent tried all the settings or try a more variety of settings.
If you know a good site on how to take nice photos I am more than willing to listen to suggestions.
Thanks again.
