(UPDATED AUG 21/2006) New dash trim! some pics!
UPDATED PICS AT BOTTOM!! AUG/21/2006
So you drop $37K on a brand new evo and what do you get for that kind of money?! Well not enough, sad to say... The disspointment of not having climate control and a cruise control and the 6 cd indash cd changer are a big let down, but to compliment all of this is the plain plastic looking trim that the car has in abundance... to fix this problem i decided to apholster some of the plastic trim in the car... i am starting out with the center consol and see how that will turn out... here are some pics hopefully i will be able to update this thread as i do more interior work
hope you guys like it... let me know what you think.

NEW PICS HERE!

This one pic shows one of the knobs up close... there are minor imperfections around the knob if you look up close, but i accredit that to it being the 1st apholstering i've ever done
hopefully with more practice on my car the results will come out even better. I also have a spare trim for the car and i will try again on that one and if it comes out better i will repost the pics and update the thread again. The DIY will come shortly after i take a few more pics today. Thanx again for the support guys, hope you enjoy!

where did you get the fabric? could you do a DIY write-up in the how-to section?
Why does everyone buy new HVAC stickers? Just use a pen cap and push them off, then re-aply.
I've used my original HVAC stickers on three different center pieces so far, no problems at all.
