Who makes the license plate backing and did you go with the Carbing Craft rear bumper heat shield? If so, I am assuming you just used the double sided tape rather than the screws?

Everything is carbign kraft. He gave me a great deal because i bought everything they make for the evo. I fastened the heat shield with only two of the bolts on the bottom. Its rock solid too.

Awesome, thanks a lot for your help. Are they self-drilling screws or do you need to drill the holes first?

you have to line up the heatshield and then drill your heatshield and bumper. They supply you with small machine bolts and nuts. I guess you could also drill and use a rivet gun if you have one.

Car looks incredible man!

This may seem like a dumb question but I got the cusco manifold heat shield and it came with a ziptie, is that for the throttle cable that was mounted on the stock shield? Did you use it or is your cable just hanging loose?

Thanks!
