This splitter replaces ur underpanel and it mounts directly to the lip of the car. It is not hard to place u gotta take the bumper off mount the pre-holes and then back on and 2 lil screws dat are under the car dats all. I don't think u'll be collecting snow as the splitter fits pretty much as the underpanel. Only suggestion i have is buy bigger bolts don't use the stock ones and make sure it's tight. Only thing i don't like is a lil gap between the lip and the splitter so i put 3m take to make sure the air does not push the splitter down and mess up my lip. Bad part is u can c da 3m take if i take low shots but barely.......the bad thing w the other lip is every1 i know dat has it has it all scratched up or in one case running over a lil branch cracked it. The splitter is flat so clearance is great.....ok i wrote mucho hope u read it hehe.....btw lip or splitter will both look extremly sexy.
