Cool I heard some good stuff about Zaino but haven't waxed my car yet just keep washing. LOL i think i am gonna pick up some wax. How difficult is it to apply and remove the wax, I used some Dupont on my mr2 and it was a pain in the a$$ to remove. I was there for like 3 or 4 hours trying to get the wax off, I used microfiber, terry cloth, and even a wet chamois.

Heres a tip- Zaino is not a wax, more of a sealant really. Yes zaino does indeed look great. Some hate the needed clay bar step...

I've been using Zaino for years and won't use anything else on my cars. Also ^^ you are correct it's not wax and lasts months and months longer while looking a lot better. After the initial dawn, clay and few layers; all you need to do is dust the car with something like a california duster (which is what I've always used) and the car stays looking "freshly waxed" all the time. Their clay sucks though imho. The best I've used is claymagic from pepboys but I've also heard good things about mothers. Defintely make sure to take your time in the prep phase and do everything perfectly because with it being 99% optically correct you will see anything you missed or left on the paint.

Only online now from what I remember. There used to be local resellers but Zaino stopped that and pulled all of the products back into themselves. Check out http://www.zainostore.com . Also make sure to read their page and get the right products. All you absolutely need is Z2 and Z6/8 along with some dawn dish soap and a calybar product but I would also recommend the Z5 swirl remover especially if your car has ever been washed or waxed prior to using Zaino which I'm guessing it has .

Zaino is a fantastic product. Lots of steps and many different products that can be confusing at first, but they work really well. Been using Zaino products since '01

Z5 is not a swirl remover...nor does it do a good job of hiding them. To remove swirls, you'll be looking at polishing the car with a machine such as a Porter Cable 7424, some decent pads, and some real polishes like Menzerna IP and FPII.

As for your order, I'd buy some Z-5 Pro, ZFX, Z-6, Z-8, and Z-7 carwash. Clay and other stuff like that you can pick up locally. Get on a real detailing forum like autopia.org, or make the mods get me a detailing section to this forum for more info .

Z5 is supposed to be a swirl filler, not remover sorry, but I honestly have always used it on the car when new so I never had to worry about it and can't vouch for how it works. As far as Z6 and 8 go, you only need one or the other as Z8 is just a faster higher stronger version of Z6 basically but serves the same purpose. I personally switched to Z8 just cuz but am not 100% convinced it's any better although it smells better I also use the Z7 car wash since it's easier than trying to find another brand that doesn't contain detergents that will strip the Zaino off of the car. You don't NEED Z5 either but you will need either Z1 and ZFX OR Z2/Z2 Pro. So what I would recommend and what I use is Z2 Pro and Z8 from Zaino and then some dawn and a claybar from someone else. I use the Z7 car wash mixed with water in a spray bottle for the clay process to keep the car lubricated for the clay and that seems to work great.

Zaino makes black look like chrome, it's amazing in person. Check out the fireturd/translam thing. The best thing about Zaino is that unlike conventional wax, this shine stays for up to a year whereas wax fades within days.

1 coat no claybar (didn't have time) but did use the gloss enhancer which some ppl forget to do.

I use this stuff on all my families cars, my old man uses it on his boat, and I even Zaino my jetski.
