Lancer windshield on an evo?? Who has done it?
A while back I read a mod list on an evo and he said that he put a lancer ( es I think) windshield on his 03 evo. Whats the difference? weight? depth? cleaner line? who has done this!!
Um, thats not two bright.
1 they are two different PN's from mitsu.
2. The EVO glas is LIGHTER then the Lancer glas
3. The mount for the rear view mirror is not the same.
The window palce tried to use an ES glass on my EVO and it didnt have the same mirror mount.

hmm I figured they would be different part numbers, I was just wondering why they did it. and a search didnt help. maybe it looked cleaner? I dunno thanks for your input!
I've done it ... its the same lol ..
The glass on the SIDES of the car are the "lighter" glass ...
I swear this has been talked about a bunch of times already ..
It was even stated back in 03 when the Evo's came out ... SIDE glass not the front ...

I just looked at my glass replacement slips from Mitsu and the two part numbers are different. Not sure why.
I know the mirror mount didnt work on them.
I dont worry about the price as glass is free replacement with full coverage insurance in my state.
