Hello gang

When HAND washing and waxing my car today, the antenna seemed loose and had broken off - it broke at the base

I searched the archives and replacing the base involves removing the headliner and stuff, so I am not going to run an antenna. I was pulling my deck out to mount my electronics, so I am not too concerned about radio much less listening to CD's...

I want to get a CF VG and was wondering if any came WITHOUT the hole drilled? I am assuming OEM one is drilled, else I would just get it.

I believe people have reported having to dremel a hole for the antenna on the Seibon CF VG's so I guess that would mean that they come without the hole

 

Thanks. I would just cap mine, but the whole vortex piece is cracked. Not sure how this happened. I barely touched it and it just fell off...pissed me off to say the least!

 

I have the Seibon VG and yes it came without an antennae cutout.
