Dabman where are you getting those badges that say Evolution VIII?

 

2003 JDM Evo's don't say Evolution VII or VIII at all. The JDM Evo VIII's say Lancer on the rear left bottom corner and Evolution on the rear right bottom corner. The JDM Evo VII say Evolution VII across the rear in individual letters. The VII however is one set of numerals

 

I agree with 1QWKEVO... However, I dont think the JDM EVOLUTION VII badge would look bad with the "VII" uninstalled... I was thinking about doing that myself....

Oh, and the smoked look looks good BIG

 

I agree... might do mine a little darker on my Silver Evo... might go well with the 20% tint

 

How do you smoke those like that? I would love to do that if/when I get an EVO...lemme know!

 

those came out horrible! the right one looks blurry and i agree it does just look like its stained and old from the sun or something

 

doing mine front to back soon. looks very nice but im going a tad darker

I like a badgeless trunk looks better than have the lame *** evolution badge and all that extra crap. Less Is More!

Just got this done to a car im working on for a friend. Installing them today. I had the bumper lights and the side markers done as well. It's a Tarmac car that's getting factory enkei's painted time attack style. It needed some thing to darken up the lights. Those VIII OEM taillights are plain horrible. Glad I have a IX...

Had a friend that paints shade them with actual paint, not that rough horrible nightshade spray crap.
