Uhm where on earth did you come up with that question? Well let me answer this question for you. YES IT IS. My car is registered in Montana, a state with absolutely NO smog restrictions so I have absolutely no worries about it. Now since many states do have smog testing, as long as it's not California (CARB is a *****) you can add an aftermarket turbo as long as you can tune it to pass emmissions tests.

The reason I made the original reply to this thread is because a lot of people aren't aware that factory installed airbags are a mandatory item to have installed and operational on vehicles operated on public roads. Along with factory installed seat belts. Wearing only a Racing harness are will get you a ticket in ALL states on public roads.

So have you learned something here, or are you done being a smartass?

Sick wheel...I had a suede mugen/momo wheel in my old car and it went to crap really fast although it was still really grippy even after the suede wore down.

Frankly I could care less about airbags. I know what I'm getting into by removing them. If I found a steering wheel I really liked and was able to keep the SRS indicator off I would get it.

I purchased the works bell hub from Aspec, the hub comes with the wire to bypass the SRS indicator.

Removing factory emissions equipment and changing out the turbo is also illegal in almost every state
