lol WOW... Old generation SCCA vs. new generation SCCA racers! But in all serious just back off FJF. You've made your point heard and thats all there is too it. It really pisses me off too when people came into my theard when i was selling my old car and started saying stuff about it.

"New generation SCCA?" I don't believe for a second that he has any driving skill, whatsoever. Hell, his choice of new wheel and tires (alone) would put him in the same class as dedicated track cars where he'd never be competitive. SCCA my as$.

Let me add this as an edit. You know the old saying, "It takes one to know one?" A few weeks ago, I contacted an EvoM mod to discuss a trunk cage I was considering. From his first reply I could tell that he was a high-performance driver. It wasn't necessarily what he said, it was his attitude toward the concept. He was young enough to be my son. I mention that, because it's not exactly the life experience that defines the attitude of a land pilot; it's his outlook. I hope that made sense.

But in all serious just back off FJF. You've made your point heard and thats all there is too it. It really pisses me off too when people came into my theard when i was selling my old car and started saying stuff about it.
I think you may have misunderstood. He's not selling anything and these are not the classifieds.

Hey im just trying to help him out. Your being a real pain the @$$ to him. And he apparently is trying to sell his wheels, but i was just saying that overall it generally pisses people off when others come in and try to say and start s**t like you have already done. As far as his driving skill goes i personally dont know. Im sure you could look it up online if its really bothering you and your losing sleep over it. Anywas if you really want to just bow out then do it and stop replying. Unless this is really all you have to do all day is come in and start stuff with everyone?

Can you name the person who held a gun to his head and forced him to continue with this? He came back this morning and started this up again. I didn't respond, but I replied to you, because you actually tried to make a point.

Yes, and his ad is in the classifieds. I also don't recall anyone saying anything disparaging about the wheels. In fact, I helped his effort by linking his ad to a non-classified forum.

I asked some questions, followed-up and then told him his purchase made sense. After that, I replied to what was said to me. I hate to point to the obvious, but this is the nature of a discussion forum open to the public. I'm not upset about this, why are you? You made your own decision to enter the discussion, right? Imagine how boring life would be if everyone has the same views. Good luck to you.

I totally agree life would be boring if everyone had the same views on everything. Its actually discussions like this that sorta get me excited seeing that there are still intelligent people out there that can have a civilized argument i guess would be the way to put it lol. Im also not upset i just know it did upset me when people said bad stuff about me when i was trying to do a legitmate sale (different forums). So i was just trying to help out, but i see its not working, so im just gonna bow out. I respect your views and opinions and good luck to you too sir!

There was a choice of three possible replies:

1. Already out of crayons?

2. Did your dog help you write that?

3. I didn't know men could suffer from ***** envy. (a Freudian reference)

Choice 3 was my personal favorite. Even though I don't often laugh at my own lines, I thought it was hilarious. Given the spelling of "fagget" (sic), as well as the composition, I felt the that it would never be understood by individuals whose apparent cranial density rivals the sheetmetal of a mid-50s Buick, so it became a toss-up between 1 and 2. Alas, I'm glad to see that you're not complaining. Oh, wait, you still are <grin>.

As long as we're talking, do you have any pics of the Honda you had before you bought the used Evo?

For those of you new to the conversation:
FJF doesn't like CF trucks. Mot and others are offended.
