ok so heres the story, i went to a local car show last weekend with my father. he has a fully restored, all numbers matching 1963 ford galaxie 500 xl with a 406. its mint. the only thing he changed on it was the wheels and tires. ok so anyway i thought i would bring my car for the hell of it. it was an open show. previous to the show, we had installed my new deluxe FMIC, new toyo tr1 tires, camber kits and an alignment. so the car was looking and running strong. ok so here are a few of his car.

ok so now for the rest of the story. so my father got best of show bronze, gold went to a nice NON-MATCHING 1970 charger with a hemi. the hemi was from a 1967 charger that they put in. silver went to a nice 1957 chevy with a 283, not sure if it was a numbers car.

so so here is the kicker, i entered my car into the tuners catagory (gay i know). so my only competition was that dam POS contour. and when i say POS i mean it. it had a nasty bodykit, the rear bumper was falling off, a HUGE dent in the read pasanger fender, air bags and a dry shot of nos. hahaha. when he won i wasnt surprised. now i didnt write down my mods because they didnt ask. so whatever. not mad but disapointed.
