cbrd evo ix, gold, forgeline

here is our current project evo ix...

only 1000 miles on her, so we are taking it easy...

thanks to megan racing for the header and o2 housing.... and kartboy for the shortshift etc etc....

the forgelines are for our 2005 evo mr 2.3 liter... 18x9.5 (centers are being repainted flat black)

mods on the ix are:

megan header and o2 housing
dc sports downpipe, evo 2 catback
Reflash (our own)
HKS DLI-2
BMC Filter, with airbox mod
walbro
HPF lower ic pipe
Helix upper pipe
APS 50/50 bov
Hotchkis Springs
18x9 Ultraleggara
kartboy shortshift and bushings
Turboxs Tuner Wideband
Gold Foil

Why the gold foil on the front of the valve cover?

the gold foil acts as a heat reflector, and the heat from the header moving up to the hood vent is much hotter than that of the internal temp of the valve cover... so the gold foil is there to reflect the heat....

just a little more breathing room..

im probably going to build a new lid that has a neoprene duct feeding air from the lower spoiler... but havent had time

nice!

i saw somewhere that some honda/mugan shop used rods as door handles, but i like the rotor.

Comming from dayton, I've seen forgelines on damn near everything even a newer impala.

I like the door handle though.
