Just got an HKS EVC V yesterday.

Trying to figure out where to mount it..

I have the radio relocate kit. I made a carbon fiber mount that fits in the DIN, Works well easily reachable, got to watch passenger knee at times

I mounted my actual controller in my glove box. I drilled a hole in the back of the glove box and ran the hoses and wires through that. I put the screen on with double sided tape and ran the cord through the steering colum to the controller. You don't see any wires at all.

The only draw back from having it mounted here is the sun. Its kinda hard to see with direct sunlight, but at night it's in the perfect spot. I can look right through my steering wheel and see everything. Plus with all the wires ran from one side ot the other of the car, it makes alot harder to steal. Plus no one can really see it if your windows are tinted.

I love my EVC-V. I'll never replace it with anything unless HKS makes a better one.

 

This is a very old pic, but the mounting point has not moved. I will try to get an updated pic to you. I put the control unit in the little cubby on the lower left side.

This should make it a lot easier to mount. Of course all of ours have now become obsolete.
