Its funny, when I told people I was going to put bronze wheels on my car, they said bronze would look terrible on yellow and would clash
What also funny is I see a ton of cars on this forum and others that are bright blue with gold wheels (same color combo just reversed) and everyone loves it...I guess this is a bit different since blue wheels arent the "norm"...i do plan on putting 255 tires on the car and changing the lugs...there are lots of things I need to take care of to pull the entire car together which is the main reason you have not seen a photoshoot from me in months ( i used to post new shoots all the time)...i found these on the net so i figured i would post
And to answer a previous question, yes I used to live in Boone. I moved to Raleigh about 16 months ago.

at that time i will be getting the wheels powdercoated a much darker blue. This blue was not what I was looking for (too bright). I actually sprayed the wheels myself. I curbed one of them very badly and couldnt find a bronze that matched what the wheels were already finished with. So, I repaired the wheel knowing i would have to refinish all 4 wheels. I decided to do a crazy color since I was just going to be spraying them and having them powdercoated at a later date when I got my tires replaced (cost of powdercoating plus cost of tire dismount, plus cost of tire mount and balance was just too much just for a wheel finish). Anyways, I ended up spraying them with a blue that I thought would turn out much darker, when in reality it was the color you see in the pics.
I still kind of liked the idea, but wanted a much darker shade of blue. When I get my new tires in this winter, I will get them coated and the new tires mounted all at once.
Thanks for the comments

Speaking of putting more into the car, when are you gonna bone up for that APR Widebody kit? YOur car would be sick as hell then man. That is only if you like that sort of thing!

Those wheels are hot.. but different strokes for different folks.
