got my car cover for the evo! pics inside.

i just got my car cover in the other day... went to the mtsu dealer and had to special order it... it cost 186.xx and that was after a 20% discount! most expensive car cover i have ever bought. Getting her ready for when i leave for two months, just making sure everything fits good.. if you'll notice i just bought that car port that is covering the car also, another 180 bones. heres the part number if any of you would like to go order one: MZ380267EX

$186.xx, is it bullet proof?? Hey, this is a dumb question but here in Oklahoma, we get hail because of the Tornadoes...does a car cover protect the car from hail??

nice cover. Since you're going to be gone for 2 months, did ya check into renting garage space/ storage bin instead? May have been a bit cheaper, but at least ya get something out of this

ehh, thought about it, but i want this stuff for future use also, so i decided to go this way.
pisetup: i would think it would protect from the wet, but not from the damage a hailstorm could do.

I want a car cover for my Evo too, but 186 is too much for a car cover. Can any other car cover fit it or just the Mitsu one?

Are there any eye holes on the car cover to put a tether on to lock and secure the cover to the car or is it just an elastic band which keeps the cover from riding up?

Also what kind of material is it made out of? Is it water proof? I'm interested in purchasing one myself when I finally get the car. I think it looks pretty good actually.

darknight: i bought it at home depot
evo11v: out to sea baby, im on a submarine.
jovani: the reason this one was so expensive is because it is made by mitsu japan and made specifically for this car, not sure if any others will fit.
tpm17: i havent checked that out yet, but that is a very good idea, i will have to check it out tomorrow when its light out and let you know then.. i really like the material, its light and soft on the inside, the instructions say that it isnt waterproof inorder to let the car breath or something like that, but it is water resistant.
