wondering if anyones done this to there evo like the AMS time attack car??if so post pictures,im thinking of doing it like AMS car...dont have to worry about polishing and nicks etc..my car has a lot of road damage on front bumper and hood...well if anyone has done it or seen it somewhere post pics please,thanks

 

I doubt you will find anyone else that has done this. These cars are too nice for that. Ams prolly got that car cheap and is a dedicated track car.

Hey now... I used to own a 240 and... Yea your right... lol Seriously though... I dont think i could do it personally. The SCC STi looked pretty bad *** flat black though. If your gonna do it i recommend actually getting it painted flat black by a paint shop. It'll make it look more even than sanding it down and using spray paint. My .02c

 

Yah there are some people that rattle can their cars black......but that looks really ghetto. If you are going to do it at least do t right. Remove all the panels and prep them and use an actual booth and spray gun and spray it flat black. Although it will KILL the value of your car. If that means anything to you.

 

Do it that chalk board paint and people can vandlize your car and you can wash it off later. Seriously, if its not a track or show car it will look kind of funny. My opinion of course.

Sports Compact Car magazine rattle canned their brand new 05 STi and it looked so sick. Obviously they don't care about it but I mean honestlyif I had money to throw around or my car needed a paint job I'd consider it. Flat black is a beautiful thing if you ask me. Try it who cares what anyone thinks. It'll take you about 17 or so cans I know that much.

 

well its an idea..going to paint the car gold anyways...im being told to use PPG black,and a flat clear..it will look sick..i mean here in hawaii at HIN there was a S2K with it and it was nice!but still a thought,thanks guys
