no gauge is 100% accurate, but the defi comes pretty darn close. its also a matter of where/how did you hook the boost line into. if you wnat precise accuracy, go get a zietronix set up.

if you peak at 19psi, where do you taper too? i peak at 1.6bar on my defi gauge, which is about 23psi and i taper to roughly 19psi at 7200 rpm.

another plus for the defi's is that you cna record them, no more looking down while WOT.

ive had mine for almost a year and have never had an issue. no finer/expensive gauges on the market...
