I shot these this past Friday at Putnam Park Road Course here in the Indy area. Funny thing is that I have NO idea whose car this is. Michigan plates - if this is YOUR car, please let me know and I'll get you copies of the photos if you are interested.

I almost went to this, but didn't want to take off work. How's the course?

Instead found a PCA (Porsche) DE event local. I was the only Evo there! just 3 sti's...

 

Putnam is an awesome course. Probably one of the better kept tracks I've seen. Lots of green!

This silver IX was the only evo out there. I was hoping for a better variety of evos, but I did get some great shots of some other cars (FD3S, Vettes, Stangs, Subies, and a VW)

 

looks mad fun....how much is it to run one of those courses anyway?

 

I think it varies depending on the course and under what sort of organization they are running - i.e., is it a full track day, only a practice, open lapping, etc. Open Lapping generally costs less and is more of a relaxed environment - there were no corner workers out there - just a flagger and a guy at the end of the straight watching that corner.

Any idea whose car this is?

 

At least we know that he's missing a cover cap for his drver side wheel. It almost looks like a different wheel in the fronts.

Good to hear! I'm going to DePauw University next year, and might bring my IX to school for part of the year. It's about 7 miles from this racetrack. I've been looking for some evo people who are around there.
