I need help deciding on a Carbon Trunk ASAP!!!! Which is best?
Sup people? i have a seibon carbon hood, and trunk on my GG EVO IX MR... the hood fits fine, but the clear coat is ****. the trunk doesn't fit all that well, and i'm selling it for $200.
my question is, other than seibon, what trunks do you guys have, how is the fitment, and do you have any pics? i'm considering all the trunks listed in the poll, but i'd really like to get some opinions from people that actually own them. please help me out, i need to order a new trunk either today, or tomorrow.
i know the super expensive trunks that are run $700-$1000 are gonna be my best bet, but i really just need something with no keyhole drilled in it, and OEM fitment. i've seen pictures of all the high end trunks, and they look great. the only X-Factor here is really the trunk by street concepts.
Does anyone out there own the street concepts trunk? if so, how does it fit? do you have any pictures of it?

well i've got a seibon trunk too, and the fitment is ~4 out of 10... it's downright horrible. that's what pisses me off about carbon trunks. you never know what you're gonna get. it's like there's no quality control unless you spend close to $1000 for one. i've seen Seibon trunks that fit OEM perfect, some that are so-so, and then the horror stories like mine...i've seen the same happen with street concepts, and VIS. it's freakin stupid. Seibon is sht...and they won't stand behind their product. they won't take the thing back, they won't do sht. frustrating stuff.
my seibon fits perfect. ive had the monster sport before the seibon. fitment is perfect but doesnt seem to have much reinforcement. it does save a LOT of weight compared to stock though.

i went to the shoot out at englishtown and saw some TERRIBLE fitting seibon trunks
and this was while my evodave trunk was on its way
i was so scared it would fit like that
but i put it on got inside had my friend line it all up and then i tightened it and as soon as he finally let me out of the trunk i was stoked thing is a 9.5 out of 10 only because the drivers side sits 1mm lower then the passenger side
