A few people had contacted Seibon about the cracks, and Seibon said it was due to the hood moving up and down at high speeds. They said hood pins would keep the hood down tighter thus helping eliminate the cracks.

ooo okay, i understand now. I thought the hairline cracks were caused by the heat from the exhaust manifold, thats why i didn't understand why hood pins would help that, thanks.

Well, it's a mixture of both. Very hot hood + Heavy vibration will equal some sort of cracking over time. Thanks again for all the compliments guys....

 

i live in milpitas by san jose. i was there cause i was visiting my girl thats going to SFSU and she wanted to go to smart and final. your car caught my eye really quick too even though i was driving her saturn. LOL. i drive a TB 05. its a pretty small dealership but theres some nice cars there too. i'll stop by sometime.
