SSL ? are you referring to the 9.5 that was just released ? i just cant see paying for them to just add some fake vent holes on the side.... thats really the only difference

Actually you are wrong, It sits about an inch lower and it has those fake vent holes to divert air out the sides of the actual air damn itself. So No, that is not really the only difference...

how does fake vent holes on the outsides of the bumper divert air out of the air damn itself which are more toward the center bumper area ? maybe im confused as to what fake parts you are talking about or vice versa... and as for the it sits an inch lower... if it is any lower which you cant tell by looking, its closer to .25 to .50 at most. ... still, thanks for your input... i just dont think that lip is worth the extra money

dont feel like taking more pics but if it doesnt fit exactly an ur going to paint it anyways, you can do a litle body work wit some bondo or whatever to get it to fit exactly perfect. on the each far side of the peicew closest to the fenders it doesnt sit exactly up against the bumper, it sticks out a few MM or so, no big deal. there is a thread some where shopwing this with pics...SEARCH

Ralliart CF is def the best lip for the IX. Its worth the money if you can afford it.
I would buy it if nyc didn't have so many pot holes.

I have the APR cf front lip on my ix and couldn't be happier.
It was extremely easy to install and no fitment issue what so ever.
Although I think it is a little more than what u wanted to spend.
I also think the new varis one looks kinda nice (prob even more $$$).

Btw, I measured it and APR lip sits only 1/2" lower to the ground vs the stock lip (not SE one).
