i pressure wash my rims....it makes getting the brake dust off easy....but i prefer to handwash the body becasue it allows you to see scratches and spots that you may have to concentrate on more.

Its best to pressure wash the outside (rinsing) before you hand wash it. This way, you will remove as much dirt and crap as possible before using the wash mit. If not, you may drag dirt particles across your clear paint surface and lightly scratch it.

Always be careful when using the high pressure washers though, never put the gun too close and never keep it on one spot for a long time.

Actually, it's best to Foam Gun a car rather than pressure wash....the foam lifts the dirt off, rather than move it around on the surface, hence better preventing damage to the paint.

It is nice to pressure wash the surface after using the wash media on it though...helps make sure you get the soap out of every crevice and uses less water.
