Exclamation Custom dash triple gauge pod "PICTURES"

It took me about two hours to make this, The only down side is that there are no longer center vents. But the cool thing is it screws right in on the backside of the dashtrim using the same holes that the vents use for mounting. I am not going to be having Air Conditioning much longer anyways. I made this one to fit 60mm gauges, and the gauge ports themselves are angled so you can see them perfectly. I got tired of the triple gauge A-pillar i had due to windshield visibility. And I found this to be a nice change. I made the assembly out of aluminum and then I painted it black. Let me know what you think....

And here are a few more pictures. They can either be mounted flush or you can angle them out, I have not decided what way I want the gauges yet. I kind of like them better this way

that looks really good inside the car. the way the gauges stick out looks a little odd, but i'm sure it makes it easier to see the gauges that way.

Not to **** in your cheerios, but it looks like an afterthought to me. your guages dont fit into the "tubes" right. if you wanted them angles that way, you should have angled the black tubes that way.

Not trying to start any crap, just the opinion of a perfectionist.

I think it's pretty good...not my cup of tea, but it's not bad. I just think it "sticks" out too much.

yeah dave, not your best work i wouldnt say... i bet you will find someway to fine tune it and make it look better though... why you going without ac ? and also, until then you arent worried about the heat or anything killin the gauges ?

what happened to the piano black interior ? that looked good... funny thing was it, my friend brian, cirrusly evolvd on here, white evo viii gialla front from the track... just had his painted in a deep black pearl and then i painted mine with a black pearl that is actually almost a perfect match for the stock gray... install and paint looks really clean, i liked that better then what you have now... why the change

here is mine now...

that is nice, good work, not to many of us go playing around with fiberglass or metal to make their own gauge holder...i really like that, if i were to do it i would finish the look with color matching fiberglass or carbon fiber. good work !

I always try changing things around. I am just bored waiting on my new exhaust manifold and intake manifold for the new turbo setup. I have another evo 9 block and head that is all stompin and bulletproof ready to drop in. Big turbo for the built block, I have always wanted 1000 hp or more Who knows? I cant wait to see how crappy the street driveability is.....

I think it'd be cleaner looking if it was sunk in flush

I don't know......it is definately a good job, it looks good, no scratch marks or gaps. But for me, they stick out a bit too much and are a bit too far apart. I have the low profile relocation kit and swapped my radio for the gauges. I guess I'm just a low proflie type!! Looks like a thouroughly pro job, though!
