Anyways to stay on topic you have one sick car that you should be proud of.

 

I really like your front bumper setup. I've always wondered how the Varis lip and OEM canards would look, and after seeing your pics, I'm sold.

I think that not spending the 6k on your car is always good avice. No return on car mods. Dosent take a genious to figure that out. But again you always post as though you have an evo. Why dont you just wait till you get it before you start "shopping" for parts. It just seems kinda stupid to me.

 

JDMevoBOOST, i agree with you on that brake setup. it looks really nice. I've got the rotora big brake kit on my car, and it made a huge difference in braking power especially at the track. So, if you are looking at a new brake set up for your soon to come evo, then drop me a pm and i'll give you some more information. Oh and to stay on topic, you're evo looks incredible. I've been very iffy regarding an aftermarket wing, but this really got me leaning towards one.

hazig9: the wing size is 1600mm......i prefer 1500mm, but this is wut Cal at speedelement had, by the way, Cal is a really nice guy to deal with, and very paitient with answering all my questions


GregGSC : it's wet carbon one i think, dry carbon ones cost 3k and up? and dry cf, they usually don't put clear coat for the finish?

llxzxll: i got the rear bumper from bulletproof along with varis parts

JDMevoBOOST: the pedal feel is more firm compared to before, as for stopping, back straight at midohio, my car carries about 140mph going into the turn, with stock set up, i had to get on the pedal about 450 marker, with the alcon set up, i hit the brake pedal a little after 400 marker, that saves some time for me through every corners.........i know the brake has more potential, say 350, but don't want to end up in the tire walls

I'mStock: the canards are actually from Varis, and lip from Streetconcept i think, i had Varis lip before, but destroyed it on the track , so trying to save money this time,

 

canards are Varis ones, and ya, i really like the evoIX varis lip too

but ur APR lip is growing on me especially after seeing evasive's track car with those double canards!! massive downforce!!

 

i think it looks great. i love the wing, and i love the JDM 8 rear bumper. i'm surprised i haven't seen more of that because it looks really good.

Did you buy the Alcons on sale? I think they are onsale at stasis for 3499 last time I checked. I wonder how much the stock front setup can fetch....
