Just get some 3m clear bra material for the holes, it sticks good, protects the paint, makes a good seal against water, and it's almost invisible.

3m clear bra is a good idea. i have some laying around and i'm going to give it a try. i'm going to use touch up paint to paint the holes under the 3m tape so you can't see through.

I'm actually thinking about removing the wing around town and putting it back on during track events.

what would be the right way to do it? spend $300 on a new trunk and get it painted. i'm planning on putting the wing back on in the spring for track events.

and i'm sick of hearing $30K car this and $30k cars that. you can spend $30k+ on a honda accord or toyota camry. most cars today are in the high $20k.
