You do realize that the US is the only place that leaves they're carbon raw like that, everywhere else they paint it, I don't understand why people think this looks good, your car doesn't flow at all. carbon fiber was made for perfomance to lessen the weight, not for looks.

 

How much did this cost you? Just so I have and idea of how much it would be to do it to mine.

I'm guessing you have never seen an FQ400? They come stock with the bare carbon wing.

For those wanting to DIY:

-paint stripper
-scrape off paint
-use a circular sander or hand sand the paint off carefully so that you dont sand through the weave

It will probably take more than 20 or so hours of work. good luck and dont blame me if u screw it up!

He stripped off all of that heavy excess paint and clearcoat. It looks like a performance mod to me

 

This is on my "to do" list. Very nice job!
