The body kit and hood look awful, but the wheels are an excellent choice. The engine bay is wonderfully clean, but the nasty yellow mushroom filter of the HKS RS kinda kills it, as does the mismatched silicone on the radiator hose and IC couplings (red vs blue). One thing's for sure is that the engine bay is cleaner than mine was when I purchased it with 4 miles.

you are hilarious

>> lol, after reading your comment on my thread about how my choice of parts was lame and ugly b/c of their lack of function, i thought you were just picking on me. It makes me feel better seeing you carry this theme throughout all your posts lol. But if you’d examine your desires to perform better racing, you would see they are no different then the desires of those who want to win car shows...

pic # 3 is sick. The second one is nice too but just a hair too dark for my taste, can’t fully appreciate the volks!!

I agree with you on your comments, but there is one thing we have to look at. the JDM look often equates to body kits that make your car look like a honda civic with a body kit. thes kits steal the identity of the car. I don't understand why he keep the stock wing either. he went through all that trouble to change the car and kept the stock wing. one thing I can say is the car is super clean with the engine bay being spotless. if you want this car to be a winning show car, change the rear spoiler, color coordinate the engine bay, get a AMS polished turbo kit, and paint the hood to cover some of the carbon fiber. I wouldn't call the car ugly, but I am not feelin the body kit. keep working on it and you will have a show stopper.

Is that the desire here? I didn't see car shows mentioned. Do car show judges put value in expensive, shiny things that don't help performance? If so, then he's going in the right direction. I don't know, because I can't stand car shows at races - they just get in the way of the real action. I also have no taste when it comes to these things, so don't get too upset. I get dizzy when I see all that stuff thrown together with no purpose.
