o ok. i was more concerned with daily driving and corning if the tires can take it being as they are "stretched" it would be nasty taking a hard turn and the sidewall gives out

It stops underneath the bumper. It connects on the ouside edges of the bumper and on various sections in the middle of the bumper, but doesn't extend onto the license plate area. I hope that answered your question.
