I've been curious to try gaffers tape on mine. Gaffers tape (photographers tape) is quite a bit heavier than masking tape but isn't as sticky as something like duct tape that would leave sticky residue. Gaffers tape is typically black. Anyone tried it?

I havent tried it, but the blue 3m painters tape peeled off with ease and feels like it would help against minor chips and scratches..Only downside is the price 10 bux a roll..

if u used films.. where did u get it? what %?
