VG Help Install

I recently got a CF VG from lancershop and when I went to put it on I noticed the square edges...So i rounded them off and I still have a problem with the entire VG its self laying flat on the car....Towards the ends are like in the air and it doesnt seem to want to bend with the top of the car....Any tips you guys have to bend the entire peice so it lays flat along the whole thing .... ?

not only do you have to round just the edges, you have to round the curve throughout the inner edge of the vortex, where the edge of the vortex meets the edge of the roof, thats what I had to do and it fit beautifully,

in order to accomplish such task, you need to get a dremel with a circular sanding bit and sand it to make a C curve inside instead of a L

know what I mean?

Buy the OEM piece and it should take no more than 4 minutes. Fitment is dead on.

With the cf VG's, you need to heat it, so it bends. I know someone recently put on the seibon cf one and he just heated it and molded it.

After hearing all this, I would just get an oem one.

The Rexpeed VG fitment is PERFECT. Installed in about 5 minutes, everything lined up great...you should check it out. I also wanted CF, but I settled for OEM Black and I think it looks just as good; and not having any fitment issues makes up for it not being CF.

The Rexspeed fits perfectly and the Apex Silver matches really well.

+1 for OEM

It's what I did, and there was no monkey f**king the part to get it to work.
