This would be a good body kit to make a copy of because that kit cost a arm and leg.

hey man i can afford it thats not the problem the problem is i do alot of highway driveing bugs and rocks and all that crap just kills the look of the front bumper after a year of use. I rather spend $250 on a front bumper that i can replace every year vs $600+

Don't like it. Too chunky and chopped up looking. It looks like thigns were just slapped on the car with no real thought other then width.

 

you cant copy a product without consent from the original comany, and Varis doesnt allow this for that reason of copys going around making their products look bad. As most JDM companies dont allow this.

 

who are you man? its up to others if they want to knock a bumper or not. if your going to be the JDM man and want nothing but legit parts then go for it. if others choose different then let them be. would you say evodave is a bad person for his kit? maybe you should natzi him up for doing so.

its a persons personal preference what they choose to do or not to do. thats why you own your evo and we own ours.

Fakes are just that fakes ....

The reason people appreciate REAL parts is that they are functional and have great fitment. When FAKES are made they make the real stuff appear cheap and poor quality. Plus how would you like it if you sent hundreds of hours testing and developing to produce some thing that actually worked and was a creation of yours to have someone else rip the idea off and sell it for half?

thats the same as downloading music off line. so we can all play the guilt game and play for the vendor side. yet when you buy a fake or look alike thats exactly what it is. so yeah to those buying fakes thats them but why knock someone when your not the one doing it.? if its not your thing then leave it be.

 

I see his argument as more of a "heads up." You can't mention Accolade on here without someone chiming in and telling you their horror story and it seems like hes just trying to prevent any more of this. Fact is that the original Varis kit will fit like a glove...you can be 99% sure that serious work is going to have to go into a replica, especially one this extreme.
